How I Launched My First Course with Zero Followers (and Made $5k)

May 28, 2025

The Backstory

Let’s rewind to January. I had just quit my 9-5, no email list, no audience—just a Google Doc, way too many iced matchas, and an idea.

I knew I wanted to help other introverts launch offers without selling their souls. So I created The Quiet Launch Method, a tiny course that taught just that.

What Worked (And What Flopped)

What worked:

  • Using a Notion freebie to build my list (50+ sign-ups in 2 weeks)
  • A 3-part email sequence that didn’t feel like spam
  • A sales page with strong messaging instead of fluff

What flopped:

  • That one Instagram post with a llama meme.
  • Trying to do everything on my own

Lessons Learned

  1. You don’t need a big audience to make an impact.
  2. Energy matters—but strategy still counts.
  3. If you’re not enjoying the process, something needs to shift.
